Note-reading, rhythm, sight-reading and technique are taught in a creative and engaging manner.
Various piano methods are used including the Royal Conservatory of Music, Faber & Faber and Bastien.
A sense of adventure is encouraged through the introduction of many styles of music.
Theory lessons are offered in preparation for the Royal Conservatory of Music Examinations and university entrance exams.
Levels taught include RCM Preliminary Theory, Grade One and Grade Two.
Basic theory is also covered in both piano and singing lessons.
Students will be prepared to perform in at least 2 recitals per year through Vocalis Music.
Preparation for other occasions is also included in the lessons.
